Wrap A-Round Care

The school operates a Breakfast Club for all pupils (F1 - Year 6) which runs from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. every morning.
From 3:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. the school runs an After-School Club. We endeavour to make the most of our beautiful grounds and the local environment whenever possible to extend our pupils’ learning and life experiences.
Please contact the school office if you would like to enrol your child in our Breakfast or After-School club. Mrs Vickers manages our Wrap-Around Provision and can be contacted via the school office or on the Wrap-Around Mobile number, 07835 932801.
Current charges for our Wrap-Around Care are as follows:
Foundation 1 Pupils
Breakfast Club: £5.50 per session
After-School Club: £9.50 per session
Foundation 2 - Year 6 Pupils
Breakfast Club: £5.00 per session
After-School Club: £9.00 per session

Snack – F1, F2 to use Y6 Study Bay
Other year groups in hall
In dry weather:
Playground – bikes, netball/ basketball, play equipment.
Field – Exploration of the natural environment for all children. Rounders led by Y6 children and supervised by adults.
Conservatory – reading and colouring available to all.
Pirate ship area – construction / small world and role play
Quiet area / library – craft activity to change weekly, cosy corner with cushions and blankets for tired or overwhelmed children.
In wet weather:
Hall to be zoned to include board games, small world play, construction, craft, reading etc. Y1 to be used for EYFS and as a quiet area for children who require it.
If a club is using the hall Y3 to be used for older children.
Forest school area to be used weekly on a different day each week (Tuesday to Thursday only), rota below.
Resources and activities will be rotated regularly to reflect the interests of individual children.
Sally Rothwell (volunteer) to lead small group craft activities for children.

Week 2 – Painting (large brushes / sponges for EYFS)
Week 3 – Friendship suncatchers
Week 4 – Paper plate feelings monsters
Week 5 – Beads – necklaces / bracelets {large beads for EYFS)

We continually review options for sports in wraparound club. We provide opportunities for tennis, badminton, table tennis and table football and are looking to introduce other sports such as dodgeball, rounders etc.
