At Dawpool CE, our high-quality mathematics curriculum is inspired by the Parable of the Talents, designed to empower every child to recognize and multiply their unique, God-given gifts. We deliver an ambitious, progressive curriculum that celebrates the dignity of every pupil by ensuring learning is successfully adapted to maximize outcomes for all, including those with SEND. Implementation:
Currently, we are using the NCETM Number blocks as a base for planning in the Early Years. From Year 1 to Year 6, we are using ThirdspaceMaths as our structure. Teachers are then adapting this to meet the needs of their class. To develop problem-solving and reasoning, teachers are also drawing on a range of different sources such as NRICH.
