Year 5 Class Assembly is on Wednesday 22nd January. It would be great to see as many parents and carers as possible.
 
Year 5 will will be bringing letters home this week about 'Bikeability'. Your child has the exciting opportunity to complete two full days of training on Wednesdays 26th February and 4th March.
 
Tuesday 3rd March Year 5 will be visiting the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to hear the orchestra play 'Our Global Vision'. Year 5 have been working very hard to prepare for this wonderful experience!

I.C.T - Spreadsheets - setting variables to convert weeks to months, months to weeks.
Music - Liverpool Philharmonic- 'Our Global Vision'
P.E.  - Dance, 'The Greeks' with Claremount School in preparation for the Dance Festival ( Tuesday morning).

Geography - Brazil - Homework, research project for Friday 28th February.

Music - Liverpool Philharmonic- 'Our Global Vision'
P.E.  - Dance, 'The Greeks' with Claremount School in preparation for the Dance Festival ( Tuesday morning).

RE - Writing letters to Rev Jane's congregation to understand more about the Kingdom of God.
 
Bikeability - Reminder to parents that the first session is on Wednesday 26th February, as soon as we return from half-term break. Please ensure your child arrives at school with their bike and appropriate clothing, particularly gloves as it will be cold. All children must have a cycle helmet.

English -  The Adventures of Odysseus - focus this week on 'The Cyclops'. Changing narrative into a play script.
World Book Day - Thursday 5th March - all welcome to dress as a book character.
Mathematics - Fractions - number sequences. Drawing angles with Mrs Hosker
Science - Earth and Space
Geography -  Mapping work about South America and Brazil 
I.C.T - Databases
Music - Liverpool Philharmonic- 'Our Global Vision'
P.E.  -

RE - Writing letters to our church congregation. Discussion about sin,forgiveness and confession in preparation for next week's church visit. 
  
Year 5 will be walking down to St. Bartholomew's church on Monday 9th March at 1.45 pm after registration.
